What kind of sire can be expected in exchange for 2 C cards?

Thanks!

I have turned in C cards twice. Got C class MaClean's Music last year and B class Afleet Alex earlier this year.

C Rated – Sires with a rating between 151 – 300. The sire could be rated higher but not lower than C.

Save up for a B if you can stand it. I got a Bodemeister, and it's a step ahead of what you typically can get with a trade-in of C's. You might get lucky and wind up with a decent budget sire, something you'd maybe receive otherwise for 150-225 BP, or it's possible you can do better...or worse. There are no guarantees, but if you can stand the wait, your prospects may get better holding out for 2 B's, or not 2 B's. That is the question.

ETA: I worked overtime for that last line, and missed where you landed Elvstroem. Good luck.

I find C cards are the best to turn in. B invariably leads to disappointment. You almost always end up asking yourself, how is "such and such sire I really don't want" a B rated sire? With C, you get some of the horses listed above plus sometimes you get a little lucky. I've gotten the likes of Tale of Ekati but also a Pioneerof the Nile. Your results of course may vary.

I got Siyouni (FR) as a CC. Somewhat bummed when it came up, but the filly bred with it has been a very productive one so far:

Literally used 4 C's. Does it tell you the specific rating somewhere?

I think it only tells you what level the sire is if you exchange cards for a sire share, not breed one.

It kind of makes sense though that Damascus might be a C sire.  He can only be used in scratch breds, and you don't see him very often anymore.  So guessing he's not super popular.

Turned 2 C cards in again the other day and got Ribchester. This is what's neat about this. Ribchester simply wouldn't have been on my radar for a sire to use. Who know's how she will ultimately turn out, but I got a very debut at least from http://www.derbyfever.com/onehorse_inline.asp?horse=11900035689 - She's Sleeping

I just, no kidding, flipped 2 B's into a Giant's Causeway share.

I'm...kinda agog. I just bought what I thought would be my last Giant's last week.

But holy crap. The B's have it.

ETA: I just read upthread that someone dropped Giant with 2 C's. That's even better. But I can't even imagine saving A's now.

With my level of sim involvement ( 11 stables ) it's untimely to turn in anything above a C share. I flipped a B yesterday though so went with a
BxCxDxD breeding and got:

What do you expect from a B grade sire?

I mean he is only 42 on the North American and Europe sires based on earning this year with more individual graded and grade 1 stakes winners than Tapit for example.

B sires are below the elite but should include sires who each year supply a decent level of success including graded winners he does that.

As past usage also is included in this calculation you could have ended up with Fusiachi Pegasus

The person who picked a GC out of a C card fluked out as the cards are through to Elite. I am sure the 1,000s of C cards who got something like Bellamy Road will not be posting about it.

If the card has a life till the end of 2019 hold onto it and use it next year. Email Mike towards the end of the year if the stallion rankings still look like this as HRE would obviously be due an uplift based on those results if replicated at the year end. Then that card is looking a lot nicer.

HRE had another grade 1 winner at the weekend. Now he is one of only 5 Northern Hemisphere stallions in 2018 with 3 or more. Making a case for an upgrade will be very easy just compare him to the results currently of Mineshaft (no graded winners), Bernardini (2 graded winners) and Empire Maker (1 graded winner.)

The best horse I've gotten cost me 2 Fs and 2 G cards, as far cards go. I've spent 3 Bs and a C booster to get a meh horse. I did a BCD horse who was terrible. That horse is in the permanent pool of hot race fillers.

I play with less than a 100 horses. It's hard to get BPs, cards are easier. It's expensive when neither pans out.

MISSION IMPAZIBLE     2019-12-30     2     UNBRIDLED'S SONG     Any     NY               2     Sire Cards

a while back i used 4 x B cards and bred this CANFORD CLIFFS (IRE) x POINT GIVEN x FLOWER ALLEY ( FOUR B CARDS   (Retired) )
